Parent’s Guide to Superkidz Club in Shawnee, KS
The children’s indoor playground of your child’s dreams! Featuring multiple climbing structures, slides, a ball pit, a trampoline, and tons more fun, your kids (and mine) will love playing at Superkidz Club in Shawnee, KS. My family visited during the first week of its opening. I left feeling overall impressed, and my kids left wiped out.
Here’s what you need to know before planning a trip to Superkidz Club in Shawnee.
First off, you’ll want to book your tickets in advance online. This ensures you’ll have a spot once you get there and you can fill out the waiver beforehand. They accept walk-ins but it could fill up for the timeslot you want to play. Bring grippy socks for everyone, even adults - they are strict about this.
Parking at Superkidz Club
Superkidz Club in Shawnee is easily accessible right off Shawnee Mission Parkway. It’s a great location with a big sign to let you know you’ve arrived. The parking lot is a little small for the capacity of Superkidz club, but we had no problem parking. There are two expectant mother parking spaces and handicap-accessible spaces near the front doors.

Bring your grippy socks. They sell them there too and will check to make sure everyone has them (even adults).

Mother’s Note
In the women’s restroom, there is a small nook for breastfeeding moms. There is a padded chair behind the door but it’s all open to the rest of the restroom. Not the fanciest and it isn’t super private, but it’s out of the main open area if that helps you feel more comfortable.
Safety Notes
They’ve taken safety into account on a lot of levels! All padded surfaces, wide walkways, and wheelchair-accessible ramps are a few safety precautions at Superkidz Club in Shawnee. As a parent, I’m always very cautious about allowing my kids to go up inside play places without supervision. Unfortunately, kids can become vulnerable to what other kids say or do when adults are not present.
While visibility was good for most of the play structure, there is a section at Superkidz Club at the very back that is completely out of sight if you’re just casually watching from the front. This area is also poorly lit. I was disappointed with the lighting, especially as the sun started to go down. It may not be as bad in the early morning or mid-day. They could use a few more lights in that section to help keep things safe, regardless.
Cleanliness of Superkidz Club
Superkidz Club in Shawnee, KS was very clean! This isn’t your McDonald’s play place with a chicken nugget wedged into the ball pit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness! We went to the evening sessions, so they had started the nightly cleaning routine when we were packing up to leave. We got to see them start wiping down the floors. They state that they use a disinfecting fogger daily and clean between each two-hour playtime. There’s even a special ball pit machine they use to sanitize all of the balls!
Pricing breakdown for your 2-hour play time at Superkidz Club:
Under 1 - free
Ages 1-3 $12.99
Ages 4-15 $15.99
Adults - the first adult is free and additional adults are $5 each
Overall Impression
My kids absolutely LOVED Superkidz Club and asked if we could go back the next day. I thought it was clean, engaging, active, and fun for me too as their mom! I loved watching them get so excited and following behind them throughout the tunnels and slides. It’s a tight space for adults but they were so happy to have me up there with them enjoying the space together. I felt like Blippi’s cameraman taking pictures and videos of them. It's more of a splurge or special occasion for us, but we will be back at Superkidz Club in Shawnee again!
