What is a Pogo Pass?

A Pogo Pass is an all-access pass to multiple attractions in a city. Different cities have Pogo Passes to help save families hundreds of dollars a year on admission costs to family-friendly venues. It is a one-time purchase with a one-year use getting you into each venue one time.

Does everyone need a Pogo Pass?

Short answer, yes. If everyone in your family plans to go to the various attractions than each individual needs a Pogo Pass. In Kansas City, some of the venues offer free admission for children 2 and under so it is recommended to purchase for individuals over age two. Parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins…everyone can use a Pogo Pass. It is not a family pass but an individual pass.

What venues are on the Pogo Pass KC?

There are over 20+ venues on the Pogo Pass KC. The venues typically stay the same year to year, but they can change or add new venues. Some of Kansas City’s top family-friendly attractions are included in the Pogo Pass like Science City, the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium, Wonderscope, various museums, and various sporting events like the Kansas City Royals or KC Mavericks!

How does it work? How do I use my Pogo Pass KC?

Each venue works one of two ways. Some venues allow you to reserve tickets online and gives you a “pogo pass” option to select. At each venue you can show up with your Pogo Pass app on your phone, scan it at check-in, and go on your way! Each venue has a detailed overview on the website and app so you can see all the terms and conditions that apply. Some venues have restrictions on the day of the week you can attend or need special reservations. All of this information is available in the app and website. Some venues require prior reservations (like Wonderscope) during their busy school break seasons.

How much does a Pogo Pass KC cost?

Each individual Pogo Pass KC is $100 at full price. With my code KIDSINKC you get half off making each pass only $50! For reference, an Urban Air Deluxe Pass (2 admissions included in Pogo Pass) retails at $23 each, Science City at $15, the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium at $20, and Wonderscope at $14. Attending just two to three of these venues with a Pogo Pass already pays itself off! Then you still get access to the other 20+ venues on the Pass.

Check for their holiday sales! There are often specials during holidays for an additional $5 off per pass, making the pass only $45 per person. This is when I always renew my passes around Labor Day, Halloween, Christmas, or spring break.

You can choose to gift a Pogo Pass to someone and it is the perfect experience gift for birthdays and holidays! The Pass will begin once they redeem their gift code.
