1.Above All Trampoline Park in Liberty, MO
This trampoline park in the north end of the Kansas City metro is great for all ages! Above All Trampoline Park has open jump courts for free play, dodgeball, jousting, air bags to flip onto, three lanes of basketball dunk, and a ninja course. Jump socks are required for all jumpers. Toddler Time takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 AM - 12 PM.

2. Club Run & Jump in Olathe, KS
A brand new, indoor play place just opened in Olathe, KS! Club Run & Jump is a space-themed play place owned by a local family. The toddler section for ages 3 and under features slides, a merry-go-round, and soft-sided toys. The additional play area has climbing tunnels, obstacles, a fast slide that flows into a ball pit, ball blasters, a zip-line, planet climbing wall, and more! Don’t miss the black light fun at the end of each session! Grippy socks are required and can be bought here if needed. Tables are available as well as concessions.

3. Fun Run in Liberty, MO | Blue Springs, MO
Fun Run offers two locations on the Missouri side of the Kansas City metro. Each location offers its own unique play set, a small town to explore, inflatables, and arcade games. My kids especially love the jumping pillow at the Blue Springs location and the big slides at the Liberty location. Seating and concessions are available at each location.

4. Get Air Trampoline Park in Independence, MO
Choose from a variety of options at Get Air in Independence, including wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, dodgeball, slamball, ninja obstacles, and beyond! Toddler Time on Tuesday and Thursday is perfect for littles to get the wiggles out. There is a Kiddie Court for children under 46 inches. On Friday nights, enjoy Club Air where the lights are low and the music is pumping!

5. Kanga’s Indoor Play Center in Independence, MO
My kids are obsessed with Kanga’s in Independence. I love that everything is included in admission: the indoor play place, bounce house, toddler zone (3 and under), climbing wall (age 5+), and swinging pirate ship. We usually show up at opening, grab a pizza for lunch, and stay until early afternoon. They have “early bird” pricing Monday-Friday from 9 AM - 11 AM if you want to save a few bucks on admission.

6. Kids Empire in Olathe, KS
One of the most WOW factor play places in Kansas City has to be Kids Empire in Olathe, KS! The bright colors and lighting make this one a parent favorite. Plus, the all-day admission price means you can come and go throughout the day as you please. My kids love the upper level’s mini soccer field, rope course, big pink slide, roller car slide, arcade games, and multi-levels of play. The toddler section here is one of the most spacious in the area and perfect for kids still in diapers or pull-ups. Plan a play date at Kids Empire and you may just get to talk to a friend while your kids play!

7. Pump It Up in Overland Park, KS
Known for birthday parties, Pump It Up is the indoor play place with all the inflatables! It doesn’t have a rope course or jungle gym play place like some of the others featured here, but it’s a great spot for indoor play. My kids love getting to jump and slide to their hearts’ content during open play. These special play sessions are only offered a few times a month, typically on school’s out days. There are varying degrees of difficulty for the inflatables and two toddler sections. It’s also attached to U.S. Toy so be prepared for your child to want to browse the toy selection!

8. Science City at Union Station in Kansas City, MO
Science City at Union Station recently put in a fun play structure, the Kinetic Climber, in the center of this Kansas City favorite. This is the perfect spot to climb, slide, and bounce (recommended for ages 4+) around while enjoying this exciting science museum. The outdoor section of Science City features a high “chip wall,” as my kids like to call it. There are so many exciting sections of Science City to explore that we typically spend an entire day here! If you have a child age 3 and under, visit the “Let’s Play!” section for additional, age-appropriate play.

9. Superkidz Club in Shawnee, KS
The ball pit at Superkidz Club in Shawnee is my kids’ favorite! The projection screen wall makes tossing balls even more fun as you play games. The toddler section features the most adorable spinning cars, a slide, and other obstacles to climb on. Superkidz Club has a lot of space to play featuring a basketball dunk, spiral slide, and an epic tube slide. The seating area has massage chairs for the adults to use while kids run and play!

10. Urban Air in Lenexa, KS | Overland Park, KS
Two incredible indoor trampoline parks in Johnson County - Urban Air! We love visiting Urban Air for a high-energy night of fun for the whole family. The jousting section, ninja course over the ball pit, dodgeball, and indoor playground give Urban Air something for everyone. Since this is a high-energy activity, I like to have an additional adult or friend to make sure we can keep track of our toddler. If you want a little less stimulating environment, visit during a weeknight or during toddler '“Jumperoo” hours.

We lived in Lawrence when Up & Away Indoor Play first opened and it was such a fun place to play! I could wear my baby in a carrier and watch my two-year-old have the time of his life. The separate toddler section is spacious with a ball pit and play set. The multi-level main indoor playground has a ninja course, giant slides, an additional ball bit, and a floating ball section. The ceilings are super high so the area feels very spacious. Plenty of seating, restrooms, and concessions are available.

B&B Theatres ScreenPlay! in Liberty, MO | Shawnee, KS | Overland Park, KS
An indoor play place but inside a movie theater? Yes - ScreenPlay! at B&B Theatres is the best of both worlds! You can arrive 30 minutes before showtime in the ScreenPlay! theatre for your kids to enjoy the indoor play place and run off the wiggles before the movie starts. There is an interactive screen with fun activities playing and it even does a countdown so kids know when to head to their seats. My kids had a blast and it’s the perfect special night out for the family. Not all B&B Theatres have this special theater so check online!
